Summer holiday 2007 in Chech Republic
Since prices for Oland rose up very much, we looked for an alternative to spend a week together in the summer.
The suggestion is to travel to the Czech Republic and rent a hut for a week. Also camping beside the house should be possible. There are already some entries in the Forum.
Now we picked up one house. It wasn’t easy to find a hut which is suitable and still free to book. Even if the supply of huts is huge.
That hut in the Sudeten Mountains we picked up is a former pension and offers space for up to 20 people in double rooms. It is placed in densely wooded surroundings, owes a tiny little pool in the garden and it looks quite nice on the pictures in the internet. But have a look on your own. Further information as well as a map you will find here.
The booking of the house from August 4th to 11th (both Saturdays, it’s the 32nd week) for 12 people will cost us 110€ per person including additional costs. The food is extra. If later on some more people decide to join us the price per person will go down for sure.
If you want to sign up for this week obligatory you should also pay the shared costs for the hut in advance for that none of us has to take a financial risk. We calculate with a minimum occupancy of 12 people. If someone has to cancel shortly and we are still not less than 12 persons he will get back his money for sure. I declare myself to do the financial carry out. — Christian Weber 2007/02/13
